Automotive Secret Shopper
We’ve always dreamed of driving the latest cars or trucks. There’s nothing like hearing the soothing hum of a mint condition engine under the hood, or sinking into the soft and sleek leather interior. And who can forget the distinctive, fresh scent of a brand-new car? Luckily, there is a way to experience the thrill of taking your dream car or truck out for a spin. The best part is you’ll even be paid for doing it.
What is Automotive Secret Shopping?
Automotive secret shopping is a branch of mystery shopping where, instead of shopping for clothes in retail stores, you visit car dealerships. Car companies will hire you to assess employee performance in making a sale and see what customers like you will think of their latest products.
How much will you be paid?
This will depend on the company that hires you. Some clients pay more than others do, but, as with most mystery shopping jobs, you’ll probably earn somewhere around $5 to $25 an hour. Aside from being paid for actual visits, you will also be compensated for the time spent writing your feedback.
What are the requirements?
You need to be 18 or older, and must have your own driver’s license.
Will you get to take the car home?
Sadly, no. You will only be hired to give feedback on how well car dealers establish their sales and how a car model performs during a test drive.
