debt-relief-2Debt relief is the name of the game, and you can get relief before the debt even hits you. All you need is proper home savings planning. Read on for more personal home savings advice.

Family Matters

- Take turns babysitting. Form a cooperative with your neighbors so you can take turns watching over each other’s kids. You get to save money you’d pay babysitters for, while having days where you can lean back and relax. If there are enough parents in the collective, you’ll only need to babysit twice a month, for about four or five hours.

- Use Coupons. When it comes to saving money, it’s best to remember that pride comes before a fall. When used, coupons can save you a lot of money. You can check online with CouponMom.com, CouponCabin.com and FreeShipping.org.

- Education can be a relief. Find out what forms of tax relief you qualify for in connection to your children who are going to school. Up to 20% of eligible people don’t apply for higher-education tax relief.

Making the right call

- Your children have fast fingers. Switch to a family cellphone plan that has unlimited texting. Teenagers can average up to 1,700 text messages a month. Cut down on that cost with the proper plan.

- Landlines are optional. If most of your family’s communication happens through cellphones, then maybe it’s time to disconnect the landline. You can replace that with an emergency extra “house” cellphone. Better yet, you can include that in a family plan.
