The Kentucky Food Stamp program helps financially needy families buy nutritious meals at participating establishments in the state. The benefits increase a household’s purchasing power for food when added to the household’s income.
Eligibility for food stamps at Kentucky is based on the gross and net monthly household income standards as follows:
• $1,127 gross and $867 net for households with 1 member
• $1,517 gross and $1,167 net for households with 2 members
• $1,907 gross and $1,467 net for households with 3 members
• $2,297 gross and $ 1,767 net for households with 4 members
• $2,687 gross and $2,067 net for households with 5 members
• $3,077 gross and $2,367 net for households with 6 members
• $3,467 gross and $2,667 net for households with 7 members
• $3,857 gross and $ 2,967 net for households with 8 members
For households with more than 8 members, add $390 to the total gross monthly income and $300 to the total net monthly income for each additional member of the household.
