The Social Security Administration (SSA) is keen on making the Quick Disability Determination (QDD) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) claiming processes faster by adding to the list of conditions under the Compassionate Allowances (CAL) program.
The CAL program was designed to quickly identify diseases and other medical conditions that need to be treated right away to lessen the waiting time for a patient to claim his/her benefits.
