Good jobs are hard to come by, more so if you’re looking for one that earns $25 an hour. But there are such jobs available, and you don’t need post-graduate degree to get one. Even better you can, get them by attending online degrees or courses from accredited online schools. Here are some of them.
Advertising agent
Effective advertising can make or break a product. Advertising sales agents are important in how a product is placed in various forms of media. Media agencies, publications and corporate public relations departments all have agents. You have to have an undergraduate degree in business, journalism, communications, public relations or advertising. Advertising sales agents had an average hourly rate of $25.56 in 2008.
Police Officer
Physical requirements are probably the only part of being a police officer that online college courses can’t help you with. However, online degrees in criminal justice or law enforcement may give you an advantage. Sheriff’s deputies and police officers earned $25.39 an hour in 2008. And that’s without overtime or shift compensation.
Respiratory Therapist
People who are recovering from respiratory illnesses may need a therapist to help them get back on their feet. You need to have a related bachelor’s degree and a state license to be a respiratory therapist. Job openings in this field are expected to grow by 19% from 2006 to 2016. Respiratory therapists had an hourly rate of $25.55 in 2008.
